ญาณินี พงศ์ภคเธียร

Yanini Pongpakatien, a master’s student at Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, Bangkok (PGVIM). Yanini started her musical journey by taking violin lessons with Maren Tancke. She then went to study at Aum-Aree Music School with Juris Madrevich. She graduated high school from Pre-college of Music, Mahidol University in 2015. She was also selected as a representative of Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music to perform in Lübeck Musikhochschule at Lübeck, Germany. In 2018, she was invited to perform in the 22nd International Bellapais Music Festival in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

She has opportunities to studying the several artistic ways of communicating through media, sound or activities, Yanini has the passion of how to combine the practical skills and finding her personal artistic voice in a deeper level through musicianship, creativity and spiritual transformation. 

Yanini takes a special interest in studying the process of sound making, collaboration and interdisciplinary projects. She likes to communicate her vision in a non-verbal way, through video collage projects, documentary or sound composing. Yanini currently working on her master’s thesis ‘A Holistic Guide to Self-Balance: Developing Self-Awareness through Listening and Improvisatory Interpretation’

ญาณินี พงศ์ภคเธียร นักศึกษาปริญญาโท สถาบันดนตรีกัลยาณิวัฒนา เริ่มเส้นทางการเรียนรู้ดนตรีจากไวโอลิน เข้าเรียนหลักสูตรเตรียมอุดมดนตรี ที่มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล โดยศึกษาอยู่กับอาจารย์ Juris Madrevich จบการศึกษาในปี พ.ศ.2558 ได้เข้ารับการศึกษาต่อที่สถาบันดนตรีกัลยาณิวัฒนา
ญาณินีได้รับเลือกให้เป็นตัวแทนสถาบันไปเล่นดนตรีร่วมในวงออเคสตร้าของ Lübeck Musikhochschule เมือง Lübeck ประเทศเยอรมันนี ในปีพ.ศ.2561 มีโอกาสได้ไปเล่นที่เทศกาล The 22nd International Bellapais Music Festival ณ สาธารณรัฐตุรกีแห่งนอร์เทิร์นไซปรัส

ญาณินีมีโอกาสได้ศึกษาวิธีการสร้างสรรค์และการสื่อสารดนตรีผ่านการสร้างสื่อผสม (media) บทประพันธ์และการจัดวางเสียง (sound) และการสร้างกิจกรรม ญาณินีชื่นชอบในการผสานการเล่นและการตามค้นหาเสียงในระดับที่ลึกซึ้งผ่านทักษะดนตรี ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ และการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางจิตวิญญาณ

ญาณินีสนใจที่จะศึกษากระบวนการสร้างเสียง การทำงานร่วมกันในเชิงบูรณาการ และใช้ในการสื่อสารวิสัยทัศน์ของตนผ่านงานเสียงและการตัดต่อวีดีโอ ปัจจุบันกำลังทำงานเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาการรับรู้ผ่านการฟัง โดยใช้กระบวนการอิมโพรวิเซชั่น เพื่อเป็นหนทางในการกลับมาฟังเสียงภายในและเปิดการรับรู้ต่อเสียงภายนอก
